The mission of the Roosevelt High School Softball Program is to
provide our student-athletes the finest educational and athletic
experience. Our goal is to develop the leaders of tomorrow by
instilling the core values and work ethic that inspires a passion
for success in the classroom, on the field of competition, in the
community, and in all future endeavors.
Elements of Success
As a Team We Will:

Roosevelt Softball Team Commitment
Our commitment to excellence is the foundation upon which our team
builds to produce success in a solid, cohesive, well-coordinated
manner.

Our overall record was 11 wins and 16 losses.
The team was 6-6 in league.
The team was in the LA City play offs for the first
time in 3 years.
We beat Marshall 4-1 then were taken out of the play
offs by LA Poly 18-6
We had 2 Girls make the All Eastern League Team
1. Mayra Orozco, Junior Infielder
2. Adrianne Lozano, Freshman Utility player
The same two girls were voted All Los Angeles City by
the Board of Softball Coaches.

All Eastern League 2nd Team honors went to:
1. Jessica Perez, Senior
2. Morgan Nunn, Senior
Our Scholar-Athlete of the year was:
Jessica Perez, Senior with a G.P.A. of 3.9
This summer has been an exciting one for us as we
have experienced a great summer winning streak. With 2 games left we
have lost only once.
We play Bell HS at Hazard Park on Monday Aug. 14th at
4:15 PM
then we play Lincoln HS at Lincoln Park on Wednesday Aug. 16th at
4:15 PM
That will end our summer league for now but we hope
to get into another summer league soon.
