but attended the 2nd Annual Cuatro Festival in San Diego,
about 160 miles south of L.A. The excitement of a
celebration to a real Puerto Rican cultural event in
California is always a stream in the desert, for the 140,000+ Boricuas in California.
I was excited about attending the 2nd Annual Cuatro Festival
in San Diego, a Puerto
Rican cultural event that's just beginning to take off. With
performances in San Diego, Los Angeles and the Bay Area, the
4 Fest held its own in attracting the Puerto Rican Diáspora
from which I was able to, at least, meet the performers and
have them autograph my mini-conga drum (see photo below)...

the only instrument I know that has 10 strings.
